Chainsaw Reviews - What Are Others Saying

!±8± Chainsaw Reviews - What Are Others Saying

There are two types of chainsaws on the market - gas and electric. The freedom and additional power that gas provides often influences our decision but we don't always need a gas chainsaw. So what do others suggest? Check out these chainsaw reviews.

Gas may provide additional power but the also are heavier to operate and require more maintenance than an electric chainsaw. Electric is a far better choice for the occasional user.

Electrics have their pros and cons too. They are perfect for pruning small trees, are cheap to operate, and require little maintenance. They are also lighter and safer. But remember you are tied to a cord usually about 100 foot. They are not designed to cut large trees and they are underpowered compared to their gas counterpart.

These are all excellent choices in the electric chainsaw market.

7. STIHL MS 280

The Stihl Wood Boss has earned a reputation as an excellent firewood cutter and saw for the farm. It has a heavy duty air filter, anti vibration technology to reduce fatigue, toolless oil and fuel cap, InteliCarb, and preheat shutter.

8. STIHL MS 390

The air injection system means smoother operation and less filter changes and the vibration dampening makes it easier to handle.
